Weighted Grade = Σ(Score × Weight) ÷ Σ(Weight)
If weights don't add to 100%, grades are normalised so each weight is proportional to the total. For example, weights of 20, 30, 50 sum to 100 — perfect. If they summed to 80, each weight would be scaled up proportionally.
